The Colorado/Wyoming Section is pleased to offer a 2-day training workshop on Tru-Traffic software (formerly TS/PP-Draft). This is the traffic signal timing software used by DRCOG and many other agencies and consultants as a post-processor to Synchro for fine-tuning and progression analysis. This course will be beneficial to both novice and experienced users.
Training will be held at a City and County of Denver's training facility at the Central Platte Campus, 1271 W. Bayaud on March 8 and 9, 2012. The cost is only $220 for the 2-day course, which includes lunch and refreshments on both days. This training is open to both ITE members and non-members, but the number of attendees is limited. Make sure to reserve a spot now.
Greg Bullock, the developer of the software will be the instructor and topics covered include:
- Tru-Traffic Overview
- Creating Arterial Timings Diagrams for a Signalized Network
- Performing a Travel-Time and Delay Study
- Optimizing and Fine-tuning Signal Coordination
- Creating/installing user-defined formulas in the Travel Time and Delay Report
- Using Google Earth with Tru-Traffic
- Troubleshooting
- New Features in the upcoming Tru-Traffic 10.0
A Tru-Traffic license key will be provided at the workshop. Laptops are welcome.
Registration is due by Monday, February 27, 2012, at 5:00 PM.
