2012 ITE Golf Tournament,
benefiting the ITE Student Scholarship Fund
It’s February. It’s cold. It seems like there’s more snow in Denver than in the high country. Things seem bleak. But don’t despair. The days are getting longer. Soon they will bring warmth with them. Then birds. Leaves. Green grass. Golf. Yes, golf is right around the corner. Ok, it’s more like a freeway curve than a corner, but still, it’s out there. Sooner than you think.
And guess what? In anticipation of this lovely change of the season, your friendly neighborhood golf committee is already busying themselves with preparations for the 2012 Colorado/Wyoming Section ITE Golf Tournament. This year’s event will be held on Friday, June 15th at Coal Creek Golf Course in Louisville, Colorado. Coal Creek is located just east of McCaslin Boulevard on the north side of US 36, and offers spectacular views of the Flatirons as a distraction from our sliced drives and chunked approach shots. The cost this year is $95 per player, which, as usual, includes golf, carts, range balls, coffee and juice, a BBQ lunch, and a prize list longer than the rough at the US Open.
A tournament registration form and sponsorship form will e-mailed to all ITE members within the next couple of weeks and will also be available on this website. Corporate sponsorships are always appreciated as they help provide participants with excellent on-course and attendance prizes, as well as scholarships for students. So go hound your boss. And tell him it’s for kids.
New this year, you will now be able to register for the tournament and sign up for sponsorship on this website (yes, that’s right, the golf committee has finally been dragged, kicking and screaming, into 1995).
