WHO WE ARE
The Colorado-Wyoming Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is composed of about 500 members, students, and local affiliates who work/study in the fields of transportation and traffic engineering.
The Section's strategic goals are:
- Bring more people together – bring transportation professionals together to network, to learn, and to build community.
- Share more knowledge and experience – provide access to key transportation-related information and continuing education.
- Increase participation of students and younger members – provide opportunities for student members and younger members to participate in the Section function and development.

Colorado Supplement to the 2009 MUTCD |
Effective December 15, 2011, CDOT has adopted the 2009 edition of the Federal MUTCD with a few changes which are posted in the Colorado Supplement. The Colorado Supplement is available on the CDOT website and can be accessed here. This document will be of interest to Section members doing work in Colorado. |
Tru-Traffic Training in Denver |
The Section is offering a 2-day training workshop on Tru-Traffic software (formerly TS/PP-Draft). Training will be held at a City and County of Denver's training facility at the Central Platte Campus, 1271 W. Bayaud on March 8 and 9, 2012. The cost is only $220 for the 2-day course, which includes lunch and refreshments on both days. This training is open to both ITE members and non-members, but the number of attendees is limited.
